Suzanne will share valuable thoughts and ideas about how to build and seize opportunities by utilizing our networks. Her wide experience from both the public and private sector allowed her to develop deep insights into how networks and relationships can impact our lives and careers. When we build relationships and challenge our points of view, we empower each other and also explore our potential.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Suzanne de Kok Selstad is the Managing Director of Skape.no, which is a center for information, competence and guidance aimed at new businesses in Rogaland.

Suzanne came to Norway in 1990 from the Netherlands. She has a background in the hospitality sector, export consultancy, start-ups, tourism, fjord cruises and project management. In 2010 she started as an advisor at NHO - Confederation of Norwegian Enterprises where she was project manager for several projects in the county such as “Global Future”, “Ringer i Vannet,”  “leverandørutvikling”, and “Solamøtet”. In 2016, Suzanne found a new challenge and became Managing Director for Skape, where her main agenda is to offer advice and assistance to ensure independence for new business owners as well as in-depth understanding of the day-to-day running of their business.

Suzanne is a natural-born matchmaker, and loves helping others succeed. Fun facts: She is a “steingal”, and loves  to work and build with stones or other materials.
