Research from the Center for Talent Innovation has shown that 26% of the reasons people get promoted is due to Executive Presence – but what is that? Many books have been written, many concepts and thoughts about this, but it still remains an elusive element.
Developing executive presence is not only about being promoted, but it’s about having an impact within our role, being listened to, be an influential voice in the room, feeling calm and clear with our ideas and thoughts.
This session will touch lightly on what are the external levers to increasing Executive Presence, but most importantly, we will explore what are the internal keys to be able to put into practice those external levers.
We will cover Prominence and Gravitas through what and how we communicate our message and how we look, and most importantly, we will cover what is the internal dialogue and mindsets that stops us from and enable us coming into our full Executive Presence, and what can we do so that we develop a deep level of self confidence that goes beyond what is achieved or not.
